Keine-Musik-Tag / No Music Day
Am 21. November ist der No Music Day.
Ins Leben gerufen von Bill Drummond.
Selbstverständlich ist Linz dieses Jahr Schauplatz. Und die Hörstadt Linz stellt das Projekt auch ausführlich vor: Hoerstadt Beschallungsfrei No Music Day
Schade, daß ich nicht in Linz bin. Bill Drummond kocht sogar Suppe.
Das ist gut.
Und tut uns allen gut.
Weltgesundheitsorganisation WHO zum Thema Lärm
- One in five Europeans is regularly exposed to sound levels at night that could significantly damage health
"WHO introduces guidelines to protect people’s health from night noise pollution"
- Night-Noise-Guidelines for Europe (als Download im PDF-Format):
"Environmental noise is a threat to public health, having negative effects on human health and well-being. This book reviews the health effects of exposure to night-time noise, examines dose–effect relations, and presents interim and ultimate guideline values for exposure.
Outstanding scientists reviewed the scientific evidence in the WHO European Region and used it to draw up the guideline values. The guidelines were peer-reviewed and discussed to reach a consensus among the experts and stakeholders. This book offers guidance to policy-makers in reducing the effects of night-time noise, thus helping to improve the health of the people in the Region."
- Directive 2002/49/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 June 2002 relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise
